Welcome to Our Summer Sensation... for Ages 2 to 5
We welcome children ages 2-5 to our fun filled summer camps.
Our four, one week camps will be held from
July 7-August 1st.

- Our 2 year old camp requires that your child be 2 years old by the first day of their camp.
- If your child will be 3 years old by Dec. 1, 2008 they will enroll in our 3 year old camps
- 2 year old camps will meet from 9:00 AM -12:00 PM on Monday/Wednesday/Friday.
- No optional lunch hour available
- All other camps will meet from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Monday-Friday with an optional lunch hour and/or Stay N Play available.
With the exception of the 2 year old program all students are expected to wear underwear (Not Pull Ups). We will be happy to assist with potty training that you have already initiated at home prior to the start of this program.
CAMP SCHEDULE
Week 1 “Ooey Gooey Art” (July 7-11)
More fun than Monet ever had, little learners will slop, plop, spread and pound their way into the freedom and exploration of art. Guided and unguided time will be spent allowing children to learn new skills while investigating a variety of materials and their properties. Daily lessons will also include information about famous artists from around the world and their preferred mediums. Expect some marvelous master pieces from this engaging camp.
Week 2 “Pirates at Sea” (July 14-18)
Mysterious maps, heaps of treasure and hoisting the sails will be the starting point for some investigative and imaginative fun. We will look the part as we learn the lighter side of pirating. What sinks and floats? How does water differ? What do ships’ flags mean? How do you make a map? These are just a few of the questions to be answered as we act up for this fun filled week. A presentation by Happy Birds will be just one of the highlights as this camp sets sail for exotic ports.
Week 3 “I want to be an Entomologist” (July 21-25th)
A big word for a bug scientist. Our own resident preschool teacher/entomologist will be directing this class of budding biologists. What is an insect? Is there any such thing as a bug? Where do insects live? How do they talk? What do they eat? Who eats them? Expect to hear some impressive answers from your excited little ones as they learn about some of the world’s smallest creatures.
Week 4 “I want to be a Paleontologist” (July 28-Aug.1)
One of our most popular camps, and no wonder. With pith helmets in place, our team of dinosaur detectives will dig for clues to these wonderful and mysterious creatures. We will learn some unusual words for a preschool vocabulary, so don’t be surprised if your little one announces they want to an herbivore, or that dinosaurs are extinct! Every day will be an exciting adventure as the prehistoric world is explored in the way only a preschooler’s imagination can see.
STAY N PLAY
If you are a parent that could use a free afternoon this summer our extended day option is for you. Available every day to those students in our 3 year old camp and up. Each day will provide plenty of unstructured play time with elements for creative endeavor. After the lunch hour our staff will provide a story time, a rest time, a snack time, and most of all a fun time! This class is limited to 8 students per day. You can reserve space for your child by stopping by the school office on the first day of each camp at the rate of $40 per day. All fees are due and payable at that time and are non-refundable. We will accommodate drop in students as space allows at the rate of $45 per day. Fees are due and payable on the day of service.
