Music
A 30 minute music progam has been incorporated into the program of our 3 year old students attending school on Tuesday/Thursday.  This program will include instrument exploration, learning patterns, rhythms, musical concepts, and listening skill development.  Student's will move to a variety of songs using scarves and rhythm instruments, and will develop pitch awareness.  This program will be taught by Mrs. Cindy Fletcher who grew up playing the violin and singing in the choirs at First Baptist Church of Los Altos.  Cindy majored in music at Wellesley College and received her Master's in Elementary Education from Santa Clara University.  She is also a licensed Kindermusik instructor.

Adventures in Science
This hands-on class is a great chance to ignite a love for science.  We will use models, activities, experiments, and art projects to discover the many facets of science.  From biology to meteorology to physics and beyond, we will explore the work around us.  Class will meet for 45 min. each Friday starting October 5th through May 30th at 11:45am.  Classes will be taught by Marcy Bates and her assistant.  This class will only be accepting students in our 4-year-old/Pre K program and is limited to twelve students.  Cost is $600 for the year, payable in 10 monthly installments of $60.

TGIF - Thank Goodness it's fun 
Morning 3-year-old and 4-year-old/Pre-K students can join our staff on Friday afternoon for TGIF.  The fun starts at 11:30 am by joining your LACP friends for lunch. At 12:30 pm we will gather for the surpirses that the topic of the day brings.   Each topic will be based on a particuliar literature book.  Topics will be posted in our monthly newsletters. Sign up with Toni up to one week in advance.  Class is limited to 8.  $40 per class if you sign up by 3:00 pm the previous day.  $45 if you sign up after 3:00 pm the previous day.
